Vehicle Description THREE OWNER ALL ORIGINAL PACKARD SIX is offered for sale by the estate.
This all original 1937 Packard Six was purchased new in Wilson, NC by the local Druggist for his wife's use.
Later when she no longer wished to drive the Packard he put into storage:
placing the car on blocks, drained fluids, put Vaseline on all of the chrome and bright work, placed moth balls inside the car, and covered the car with blankets.
My friend David learned about this Packard from someone in Wilson and contacted the owner to see if he still had the car and if he would let David see the car.
The owner acknowledged the cars existence, but refused to show the car.
Dave kept in touch with owner over several years before the owner allowed David to see the Packard.
However, he was emphatic that he had no desire to sell the car.
After the owner passed away a few years later, David contacted the owner's son and was able to purchase the Packard in 1995.
David brought the car back to life carefully maintaining the originality and enjoyed showing the car in car shows and using it for friend's weddings, etc.
David, the second owner of this time capsule posted a video on YouTube in 2012.
