Entry Level Civil Design Engineer
Primary Responsibilities
The entry level Design Engineer is responsible for supporting the Engineering team to complete design for assigned projects accurately and on time.
Design steel and concrete components of MSE retaining walls and prepare calculations using engineering software
Perform preliminary engineering analysis, drawings and summaries for project quantities.
Evaluate soil interaction with MSE Retaining Walls
Manage tasks at various stages concurrently while executing highly detailed work
Projects as assigned
Experience, Education, and Skill Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a Civil Engineering discipline required
Have EIT or pass within 6 months
Co-op assignments or other relevant work experience while in school
Uses and operations of AutoCAD software
Knowledge of terminology, methods, and nomenclature of structural and geotechnical design
Effectively read and understand Engineering plans
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to fully understand and follow complex oral and written instructionsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
